the hotel was quaint and exceptionally comfortable, good value, perfect for what we needed. the room we had included central heating, flat-screen television, and a seating area. the bathroom was spotless with a bathtub. the location was good, next to the church, the beach was close to the venue.
Didn't like the area, it was not very good.

I had a really comfortable stay, just like always. the venue is lovely, featuring spacious rooms that make you feel right at home. It’s in a peaceful location, conveniently situated next to the town center and only a 5-minute walk from Lewes Priory Park. the room has central heating, a flat-screen television, and a cozy seating area, not to mention the exceptionally comfortable bed that ensured a great night's sleep.

Friendly management, helpful and caring when partner fell ill. Good location with parking in front of hotel. Close to boulangerie and bar.

We stayed at De France in a charming village, right in front of the beautiful church in the main square. the landlady went above and beyond by waiting awake for our arrival until 1 am. the rooms had unique furniture and ours was spacious.
Although it may be a bit pricey, overall, we had a pleasant experience. Cons: For us, it was perfect!
